The battle that will decide the future of India is upon us. At stake in the coming elections is not just the question of who will form the next government but what direction the country will take and what kind of country we will leave for our children. On one side is the INDIA alliance, led by the Indian Nation Congress and on the other side is the Narendra Modi, RSS and Adani-Ambani led NDA. For the last 10 years, the NDA has crushed ordinary Indian, abused the spirit of the Constitution and attempted to kill every voice and every institution that has stood with the Truth. If they return to power, they will no doubt drop even the pretense of democracy and make India a full-fledged dictatorship under their rule. On the other side is the INDIA alliance that is uniting Indians across the country in a struggle to avert this catastrophe.

The guiding light for this alliance has been the 2 Yatras Shri Rahul Gandhi has undertaken across the length and breadth of this country to awaken Indians to the slavery that the Modi government intends for us. These Yatras have crystalized a message for the INDIA alliance. A message of ‘Nyay’, justice. We have articulated 5 themes for this Nyay – Yuva (youth), Bhagidari (Participation), Naari (Women), Kisaan (Agriculture) and Shramik (Labour). Within these themes are embedded the hope, aspiration and dreams of every Indian. This is the message we are taking to the people of India in these elections.

On the other hand, the Modi Government is already showing signs of what is in store for us if they come back to power. The electoral bond disclosure has shown how they have sucked the blood of the Indian people to fund their Party. In their fear of losing the elections, they have frozen the accounts of the Congress Party and used the full might of the ED and the CBI to break the leaders of the opposition. There is no doubt they will use every dirty trick possible to steal this election.

The future of democracy, the Constitution and India itself is at stake. It is the duty of every Indian and especially every worker, supporter and sympathizer of the Congress Party to sink whatever difference and dissatisfaction they may have and work for the Congress Party and the INDIA alliance.
