Ranchi: On June 27, 2022, a Satyagraha programme was organized at Birsa Chowk under the aegis of Ranchi Mahanagar Congress Committee, under the leadership of Hatia Assembly in-charge Ajay Nath Shahdev and Mahanagar Congress President Sanjay Pandey, under the auspices of the Ranchi Mahanagar Congress Committee, under the Satyagraha programme being run in all 81 assembly constituencies of Jharkhand, in protest against the Agnipath scheme implemented by the Central Government.

In his address on the occasion, State Congress President Shri Rajesh Thakur while attacking the Central Government said that Agnipath scheme is like gambling with the youth of the country, due to which the future of the youth will be ruined.

State Congress spokesperson Rajiv Ranjan Prasad, former state Congress general secretary Jyoti Singh Matharu, Uday Pratap Vishal Singh, Salim Khan, Piklu Chatterjee, Inderjit Singh, Rannvijay Singh, Neetu Devi, Rajesh Kujur, Parmeshwar Singh, Ajay Chaudhary, Ashish Linda, Mohammad Sayeed, Karthik Sahu, Ranjan Yadav, Sanjay Minj, Ajit Dwivedi, Kushal Oraon, Niranjan Kumar etc. were present on the occasion.
